Description ddmicrolog 2008-05-14 18:55:02 UTC
In my datapilot, I need to compute a weighted average and to do that I need to
use a calculated field like "sum(field1) / sum(field2)" where field1 and field2
are columns in datasource

In attachement you will find a simulated datapilot in the ods file and a
screenshoot of formula in the datapilot editor window

For me, it forced me to give up this time replacing Excel. For users who do business in management control is an indispensable function.
And as it is not reasonable to have two office tools within the same organization, we are subject to Microsoft ...

Please fix this issue (possibility to define some proprietary formula in new field, at least using fields from database), available in excel..... and very useful for pivot table.
Thanks
