Description safway 2008-05-15 20:36:22 UTC
Environment: OO.o beta 3.0 on Windows XP SP2

Description: When I want to assign a macro in the current document to an event,
I don't see the current document as an option on where to retrieve my
already-saved macro. I have confirmed with OOo version 2.4 that I should see
what I expect to see. This might have something to do with issue 53615 located
at but I am not positive.

Steps to duplicate:
Start OO.o beta 3.0
Create a new Spreadsheet
Tools | Macros | Record Macro
<Record your macro. For example, I recorded Data | Refresh Range mouse clicks
in my macro>
Stop Recording
Macro Name = Test <or whatever>
Save Macro in = Untitled
Click the Save button
Module Name = Module1
Click OK
<This finished the first section>
<This next section is where I see the problem>
Tools | Macros | Organize Macros | Basic
Macro From = Untitled | Standard | Module1
Click Assign button
Click Events tab
Save In = Untitled
Event = Open Document
Click Macro button
Library doesn't show the "Untitled" option <this is where I expect to see my
Untitled document and get my already-saved macro from>

In other words, I am expecting to see my Untitled document here to assign the
"Open Document" event to the macro I recorded in the first section.

Temporary way to get around this issue:
<Do the first section above, then>
Tools | Customize
Click the Events tab
Save In = Untitled
Event = Open Document
Click the Macro button
Library = Untitled | Standard | Module1
Macro Name = Main
Click the OK button

Hope this helps: I just verified this is an issue outside of just Calc. Writer
also has this issue.

Only My Macros and macros are available in the list.
Comment 3 andrew 2008-06-15 02:54:26 UTC
I suspect that this bug is related to the fact that a macro in a Calc document
is not visible as a Calc function.
Comment 4 andrew 2008-06-16 00:03:18 UTC
This problem still exists in the m19 development build.

The issue with a Calc function, however, is fixed.
