Description pjentsch 2008-06-20 13:06:35 UTC
It is possible to alter the application window title using the "Title" property of a "Frame" instance. But each time the documents is modified, the title gets reset to the filename of the currently opened file. This makes the "Title" property of "Frame" instances rather useless (for writing, at least). The title property should not be modified by OOo once it has been set through the API. I think this is a bug, so I'm opening an issue for this. If there is another way to modify the window title, I'd gladly post a request to the mailing list. Thanks, Peter

@as: This works for me when using http://api.openoffice.org/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/frame/XTitle.html But: it's unpublished and description is undocumented and the @since tag is (as most always) missing. Doesn't work with OpenOffice 2.
