Description fdekruijf 2008-06-23 16:08:44 UTC
Copied from a powerpoint presentation which uses circles, these circles are
correcly displayed when in normal mode. However the circles are displayed
bigger and distorted when in slide show mode.
I will attach the odp file and a screen capture when in slide show mode.

This bug has been verified on Linux running OOo 2.4.1 680m17 (Build 9310) using
the supplied attachments.
Comment 5 fdekruijf 2009-03-27 00:35:24 UTC
It is still present in OpenOffice.org 3.0.1 OOO300m15 (Build:9379) except that
circles remain circles, but they are too large.

I successfully replicated the bug in Open Office 2.4.1 on Windows XP
Professional running service pack 2. I ran the original file the reporter
attached, and the circles distort and re-size. I tried re-create the scenario,
however failed to do so. I attempted to recreate the file by placing various
circles across a blank slide. This included randomly drawing a select few, as
well as, copying and pasting hundreds of circles all over the page. However,
neither of the attempts was successful at recreating the fault and all the
circles appeared to be scaled normally. I, also, experimented with different
shapes but that still did not reproduce the fault. It seems to be more than just
making simple circles and shapes scattered across the page. Knowing more details
about how the file was created would be good as to narrow down what exactly
could be causing this bug to occur.
Comment 7 fdekruijf 2009-03-31 13:28:16 UTC
It was originally created using Microsoft Powerpoint. I got this Powerpoint
presentation, a course, from a colleage from another University in The
Netherlands. However I am only using OpenOffice.org so I ran into the this
problem and I reduced the presentation to one slide with the problem.
Since it is now in an .odp file, one should be able to compare the internal code
of circles in this file with the code generated when circles are generated using
Impress. Apparently the problem is with the code conversion from a .ppt file to
an .odp file. I still have the .ppt file and I could try to reduce that file to
one slide with the problem. However it may take a few weeks before I have the
time for it.

The error is only with bitmap filling.
