When entering a formula starting with a '+' or '-' character
and then moving with the cursor keys to another cell,
reference input is only enabled for useful cases, e.g.
after an operator or an opening bracket. In all other cases
the cell input mode is closed.

When clicking with the mouse in another cell, the same
behaviour is expected. This is currently not the case.
