Description jkridout 2008-07-12 13:31:17 UTC
I have used the forum above to see if it is just me. There is also a file
uploaded there showing the problem.

I know that problem that randomly appears with some Calc files and that has
already been reported (Issue 50430 and may be other ones, but I did not find a
current one).

Steps to reproduce with jkridout 's attached sample file downloaded from a.m.
URL and with "2.4.1 Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [680m17(Build9310)]":

1. Open "Master 2008 - 2009 b.ods"
2. scroll down until you see row 154 ... 162
3. Mouse click into 'A154', press and hold <shift>, press 'cursor down'
   eight times and 'right' seven times to higlight 'A154:H162' (reproducible
   also with any other method);
4. release <shift>
5. Menu 'Edit -> Copy'
6. Open new WRITER document with 'File -> New Document -> Text document'
7. In WRITER document: Menu 'Edit -> Paste' to paste the OLE object with
   spreadsheet contents to the WRITER document
   expected: Contents "James Ridout Maintenance ... visible
   actual: an empty frame appears, double click into the OLE object shows
           that the "view window" shows the empty rows 129 ... 139 and not
           row 154 ... with contents
