Currently, when changing an object's properties such as size, colour, rotation
angle or position in Impress or Draw, one has to adjust the values, close the
dialogue, see what it looks like, re-open the dialogue, adjust the values again etc.
This process could be sped up greatly, OpenOffice had an "instant preview"
option, such as many other programs do (MS Office, Adobe Illustrator etc.).
To prevent slowing down the system, the instant preview could be optional by
selecting a check box.

Thanks for having done a great job with OpenOffice already! Very useful software.

Nice feature request. Have you tried the new version of AOO with the sidebar, changes there lead to immediate changes for the objects.

I personally don't use the Sidebar.
