Description dreessen 2008-09-06 23:33:48 UTC
I received a Powerpoint file and opened it with OO. The following changes had
occurred:

1- the original file treated the title slide as page 0. (Subsequent slide
numbers were shown.) OpenOffice would have none of that, changing the first
slide to #1 and moving up all following slide numbers;

2- mid-way, the body of a slide starts with "a) ...."   followed, a few
slides further, with "b)....." OpenOffice changed that "b)...." to "a)...."!!
(The first "a)...." is still there, too);

3- on one slide, an indent did not hold.

Don Kelly advises that the first "bug" could be due to conceptual differences
between PP and OO, while the other two "sound like classic import/export bugs."

I'd gladly supply the files but see no way (being a first time user of these
fora) how to send attachments.

Oh, how to send in an Attachments turned out to be easy. However, the size
limit is 1 MB, while the file is over 2 MB. As two of the three "bugs" are
relational, it would not do to send you a stripped down file. Please advise. E.D.
