Description Frank Schönheit 2008-09-17 20:30:18 UTC
- open the attached database document
- execute the contained report by double-clicking it
=> the report is executed, a text document with the result is opened
- close the text document
=> you're asked whether you want to save the document, claiming it is modified

This is weird. The report result document is opened read-only, so there is no
need/possibility to save it. Even if it weren't opened read-only, it is read
from disc, without the user having changed anything, so it should not act as if
it were modified.

Comment 2 Frank Schönheit 2008-09-17 20:32:04 UTC
Since this makes the new chart-in-reports feature somewhat ... difficult to use,
I target this issue to the next feasible non-micro release.
Comment 3 mikhail.voytenko 2009-01-13 11:01:17 UTC
The problem with the report document is that embedded object size stored in
object itself is not completely synchronized with the object size stored in the
container. Thus on loading the object gets the new size and is modified. It
would be interesting how the document was generated.

Anyway, the current implementation does not allow to set a read-only document to
modified state, the implementation should behave consistently in case the
embedded object is changed. Fixed.
