Do you have registered the odb-file? Which wizard do you mean? We have (1) File > Templates > Address Book Source (2) File > Wizards > Address Data Source (3) Tools > Mail Merge Wizard Try using (1) after you have registered the file with Tools > Opentions > OOoBase > Databases. (2) is for alien formats. Thank you, this method works. First registrating with Tools > Options > OOoBase
> Databases then using the wizard File > Template > Adress Book Source.
But why can the wizard not use the adress database without primerly regestrated
the odb file. In my OOo 2.4.1 the wizard has done it. And odb is not an alien
format.
I think that many users wich uses earlier versions of OOo will have the same
problem to integrate there old adress database this way.
I think users should be able to use existing odb-files with embedded HSQL-database in the wizard in File > Address Data Source. valid enhancement -> send further to the requirements team |
