Tried loading the document and that wasn't slow at all. Scrolling is a bit slower than usual, maybe due to many different colour attributes used, didn't investigate yet, but not that slow that I would call it "very slow" (YMMV of course). Do you happen to have another computer available to try? Maybe this is graphics card or driver related. On my machine it wasn't exceptionally slow though I did see what the user that filed the Ubuntu bug was complaining about. If I scrolled down a lot at once it took a noticeable amount of time to redraw on my screen and I have a fairly fast machine (Core 2 Duo 2GHz). I haven't tested on a slower machine than that but I would imagine it would be even more pronounced on a slower one. |
