Description keineahnung 2008-10-24 08:46:23 UTC
During setting up a new table in Base I noticed that I can't edit the field
"Length" if the field type is Integer. I can copy information in and out but I
can't edit the field via the keybord.

This Bug still accures in 3.0.0 final but only in Integer fields. Text fields
are fine, editing is no problem.

Version should show where the bug was discovered first

@maveric please have a look

Confirmed with OOo 3.0.0 final build 9358

Mac Mini Intel 1.83Ghz CoreDuo Mac OS X 10.5.5 all security updates

Sorry I only have 3.0.0 final here at the moment so I cannot tell in which
Milestone or Beta this bug was introduced.

is that a mac only issue?

Today i found it also under Debian.
I guess it is platform independent.

I create a new small database application with the internal HSQL DB.

I want to set the length of the integer fields to 5, but this isn't possible.

I can change the length of text fields.

I also read http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=81567

I guess a side effect
