Description david 2008-11-07 10:30:44 UTC
Nudging a shape (e.g. an arrow) does not work in a label document.

1) Create a new Label document (File/New/Labels)

2) Create a shape, e.g. an arrow, from the Drawing toolbar.

3) Try and nudge the arrow up or down or left or right by selecting the
shape and holding down alt while pressing the arrow keys. It does not
work. With an image it works allright.

I am not native English, so could you please explain what "nudging" means in
this context? Thanks a lot for lighting up!

Ah, I now understand. "Nudging up" with Alt-Cursor keys...

MRU->OS: problem is, when a drawing object is inside a frame. If the object is
selected and you try to move it with Alt-Cursor keys, the frame will be moved
instead (in a normal empty writer document. In "Label" documents it is not
possible to move frames ...
