Hi,

I am handling spreadsheets with computer inventory data from our CMDB on a 
regular basis. I need to sort the data by IP address. I have written a user 
defined macro function to accomplish this task as there is no natural sort 
order for IP addresses (see also issue #26565).

I would be nice to have ip2long() and long2ip() built into the Spreadsheet 
component.

dr->er: new functions? please have a look... maybe an add-in is better here.

An Add-In would do as well. However, this is an RFE and as such I reassign it to
requirements. Target OOo3.x doesn't make sense as long as nobody picks this up.
