Can reproduce it with DEV300m37 on WinXP and Ubuntu

How to reproduce it 
1 Create a new Impress document
2 Insert - Picture - From File, select *.gif file, e.g. attached picture 
  'dance on the moon.gif'
3 Double click the picture, input characters like dance, then select these
  characters, click 'Add' button on 'Custom Animation' pan and do one or more
  settings, then click 'slide show' button on 'Custom Animation' pan

Result 
OOo crashes

Expectation
OOo works well

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".

Reproducible with the lastest 4.2-dev build and with 4.1.15

On Windows 11, the SEH exception message sometimes appears.
