Description probe1 2008-12-20 03:41:16 UTC
using OOo3.0.0 RPMs from project

Steps to recreate:

create a from in an ODB file, Format>Page settings>Background>Picture>choose one
Save form an ODB, exit
Open again, use same steps to change background to color, save&exit.

If unzipping to ODB, (a copy of) the picture is still embedded
(../forms/Obj11/Pictures).

On large images used this blew up the size of ODB - users complain about the
size. Embedded picture(s) should be deleted from ODB if not longer used.

Confirmed w/ 2.4.1, 3,0, 3.0.1 RC1 and DEV300_m37

See attached odb file - open the file with any archive manager and you will find
two png files in a picture sub directory for the file forms/obj11. Both files
had been set as form background images, the file saved and then removed.

Comment 4 Frank Schönheit 2009-01-08 19:51:15 UTC
fs->mav: Since this happens only with text documents embedded in Base, but not
with normal text documents, I somehow suppose the embedding mechanism is to sue ...
Comment 5 Frank Schönheit 2009-01-08 19:52:44 UTC
fs->os: Since I'm not really sure about the above (suing the embedding
framework) - perhaps you have an idea where to search: Why is the former
background image still written when the document is saved, who still holds it?
Comment 6 mikhail.voytenko 2009-08-31 13:04:34 UTC
Changing the target because there is no enough resources.
Comment 7 Marcus 2017-05-20 10:47:50 UTC
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
