Description brh 2009-01-06 14:48:57 UTC
Gradients applied to fontwort appear OK on screen, but print incorrectly. Bits of the text are white
instead of coloured and colour appears in background holes (as in d) or loops (as in bottom half of S).
This problem did not exist in ooo2.3.

Note that a plain colour fill prints correctly.
Comment 4 brh 2009-01-09 10:51:19 UTC

MRU->HI: on Windows, this looks good. Could you please check the printout from a
Linux machine? Thanks a lot!
Comment 7 h.ilter 2009-01-14 11:45:51 UTC
HI->HDU: with my linux, I can't get the right fonts by loading the bugdoc.
Please have a look.
Comment 8 hdu@apache.org 2009-01-14 13:47:33 UTC
> Please have a look

I don't have that exact font either and couldn't reproduce it directly.
@hi: the problem seems to be generic, please try to isolate it with e.g. other fonts or other printer settings
@brh: does it also happen for PDF-export?
Comment 9 brh 2009-01-14 15:06:18 UTC
PDF export works fine. It appears correctly in acroread. The postscript file output from acroread is
also correct.
Comment 10 hdu@apache.org 2009-01-14 16:06:24 UTC
When PDF export works as expected the glyph outlines are obviously fine.
@pl: any known issues when psprinting complex gradients?
Comment 11 philipp.lohmann 2009-01-14 16:11:23 UTC
@hdu: none
Comment 12 brh 2010-02-03 12:32:06 UTC
This bug is still present in 3.1.1. Any chance of this being fixed ?
It's tedious having to export as PDF in order to print gradient filled text.

Print to PDF using PrimoPDF results in correct text look.
