Windows apps run under VMWare Fusion on Mac allow their control-key commands to be issued using 
the Mac's Command key (Apple key). That is, almost all do.

OpenOffice does not. It requires that I use the control key for everything.

There must be a recommended API to respond to keystrokes with modifier keys that OO is not using.


BTW, version is OOO300m15, which is not in the list above.
