The issue does not show up for certain font / typeface, e.g. OpenSymbol. The issue does not show up when exporting as PDF/A-1, but then we lost some features and got much larger files. This issue may be related to issue #95459 and issue #93852. Confirm, however as a workaround you might format the symbols with a font that actually can display them. pl->hdu: earlier a glyph replacement from Helvetica to OpenSymbol seems to have taken place; this is not the case now. Could you please have a look ? reminder: check glyphfallback from PDF-builtin font to ATS-font supporting PDF-builtin fonts to save a couple of bytes during PDF-export is not worth the trouble... Adjusting the priority: Selecting symbols from a symbol font and then assigning another random font for them is never be a valid use case. If any other font on the system is also supporting the codepoints requested by the symbol text there is no way to reliably recover from this user error. The recovery actions going on still have some merit though and should work for PDF-export as well. Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org". |
