Description ccheney 2009-03-03 05:48:34 UTC
Startup Impress: Create an ODP. Save it as an ODP. Exit out of Impress.

Re Open the ODP in Impress - obviously.
Save it as an OD_G_. Exit Impress.

This is to simulate a series of changes/events that would normally occur (and
did) over several days to weeks.

Open OO Draw.
Via the Recent Documents in OO Draw, open the just saved ODG.
It will open in Impress. Not Draw.

If you open the ODG via the Open dialog, it will open correctly in OO Draw. Via
Recent Documents, it will not.

Can you please write the complete filenames for each stage? When you say "Save
it as an OD_G_."
does it mean OD_G_.odp or what? Thanks.

It means saving the file as an odg, eg filename.odg... It was emphasized in that
manner to make it completely clear it was not being save as a presentation but
ends up still being opened by the presentation program (impress) instead of the
drawing program (draw).

Ok, reproducible. But I wonder why this should be simulating changes over
several days.
Reassigned..
