Description nmailhot 2009-03-03 10:41:40 UTC
I'm copy & pasting a numbered title from word 2000 in a writer table cell (as
plain text).

When the cursor is inside the cell or only part of its content is selected all
works well, the selection is replaced by the copied text (for example 2.2.4
Volumétrie Utilisateurs)

However, when the whole cell is selected (when I want to replace its whole
content) strange things happen:
1. the existing content is not replaced
2. the pasted text is mangled with ### and added after the current content (for
example 2#.#2#.#4#	# #V#o#l#u#m#é#t#r#i#e# #U#t#i#l#i#s#a#t#e#u#r#s#)
3. sometimes stuff is also inserted in other cells

So this case is totally broken.

MRU->MBA: please assign to appropriate member of Writer dev team, thanks.

That one gets a result like "2#.#2#.#4#" cannot be reproduced. But that the
content is not replaced when pasting into a selected table cell, can be
reproduced easily...

I don't agree with priority P3. This is a fatal issue for the drafting of any
kind of scientific or technical document. I will now have to pay my 99 euros to M$.
