Description gmac 2009-03-03 13:46:38 UTC
In Writer, I selected a paragraph numbering format which indents each sub-
paragraph.
The document was then saved as a ".doc" file.
Re-opened file and added further paragraphs. The new paragraphs would not
automatically indent when produced as sub-paragraphs.
The indent works however, if the document is saved as a ".odt" file.
Open Office writer only seems to have the problem with ".doc" files.

MRU->OD: create a numbered list in OOo, save as WW8 format, reopen and try to
add level 2 list items -> these are not numbered anymore.
Was good in 3.0, broke in 3.0.1.
Comment 2 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2009-03-04 07:35:42 UTC
Clarification with MRU reveals that MRU meant "... not indented anymore."
instead of "... not numbered anymore."

Investigation reveals that after the import of the created WW8 document all
paragraph have directly set indent values. These indent values are inherited by
newly inserted paragraphs. Thus, the indent value of the applied list style are
not applied anymore.

It also reveals that OOo 3.0 shows the same defect.
OD->MRU: Please check again and confirm respectively object with my observation.

Fix in progress in cws hb20.
