Description superjag 2009-03-18 19:46:15 UTC
The user-defined dictionaries in openoffice are case-sensitive. This is useful
for checking capitalization of words such as proper names, but is a hassle when
dealing with lower case words, which could be used either capitalized or lower case.

I would like to suggest the following way of adding both versions of a word
(capitalized and lower case) to the dictionary in a single click:

When using the right-click menu to add a word to the dictionary, if the word is
in lower-case form, both forms should be added to the dictionary. If the word is
capitalized, only the capitalized form should be added.
