Description Unknown 2002-12-13 05:14:24 UTC
I have been having a problem using Impress for presentations on a video
projector. I am using a Desknote A928 1.6 Ghz P4 CPU. Windows XP Home. The
desknote uses a SIS 650 chipset for video. Unfortunately, I have two issues..
1) The Impress software will not show on the the secondary monitor just the
Primary one. The secondary is the projector so that is where I need it but it
wants to default to th Desknote screen.
2)When the SiS chipset MULTIMONITOR is selected, when you open a menu such as
File, it goes over to the other monitor. I want it on the one I am using. Then
you cannot reach over there because you have to lift up on the mouse to move
ove there which closes the menu.

Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to find info on the problem here but am finding it difficult. The site
seems to be more designed for programmers than users.

I think dual screen support is not a bug but a feature. Please have a
look.

2) is a duplicate of issue 3428

maybe 1) is solved with issue 3428 as well. Maybe you can close this
as duplicate..
