Description hisdad 2009-04-06 06:13:33 UTC
It is possible to create a query in base which SELECTS MAX(sometextfield) GROUP
BY Someintfield.

This works perfectly in base.

If you were to then create text document and a Table Object by using this query,
or by entering it as SQL into the Form. The Aggregate field will show as Zero,
if the value is not a representation of an integer.

Or to put it another way, the table object is attempting to perform a cast to
Numeric on that column. Failure results in a Zero.

This issue is with version 3.0.1 as well as the current 3.1 snap.

I shall attach a simple text doc and DB that shows this behaviour.

Priority is 4 because this renders my current project utterly impossible.
Maybe you can fix before 3.1 goes gold.
