Description ejanuskevicius 2009-05-02 19:55:39 UTC
A reverse of issue 101497: when importing data from DOC file to OOo 3.1RC2, some
bookmarks are lost. See files for the issue 101497.

Confirming locally.
Comment 4 michael.ruess 2009-05-04 10:34:55 UTC
Cannot confirm this problem; when I open the doc from issue 101497 into 3.1RC2
all twelve Bookmarks shown in MS Word are also shown in OOO Writer.
Did I miss any Bookmarks?
Comment 5 rq 2009-05-04 10:56:07 UTC
Bookmarks are OK, but references are not.
In particular, instead of lines like this one:

This is reference to line 1 by reference (1) and by page1.

I get lines like the following:

This is reference to line 1 by reference (Klaida: nerastas nuorodos Å¡altinis)
and by page1.

"Klaida: nerastas nuorodos Å¡altinis" is the error message saying that the
bookmark is not found. Apparently this happens because those references now
reference e.g. "Ref_line%201" instead of "Ref_line 1".
Comment 6 ejanuskevicius 2009-05-04 11:02:43 UTC
When DOC file is reopened in Writer, the every first reference to bookmark on a
line is changed to "Ref_line%20X" instead of "Ref_line X" (note a change from '
' to '%20') and Writer displays "Error: Reference source not found".
May need to clarify bug's summary.

OK, you are talking about the references. That problem (MS Word format does not
support blanks in Bookmark names) is tracked in issue 99614.
