Description branislav.klocok 2009-05-08 09:13:52 UTC
The system crashes when exporting the presentation to PDF.
Comment 1 wolframgarten 2009-05-08 09:18:33 UTC
does this happen with every presentation, even with an empty one? Did you send
an error report and receive an ID? Thanks in advance.
Comment 2 branislav.klocok 2009-05-08 10:17:36 UTC
Empty presentation works fine.

I do not receive an option to send an error report.

Here is the link the concerned presentation. Mn pelet
plant project summary.ppt

Its ppt, but even when I convert it
odp the crash is the same.
Comment 3 jbf.faure 2009-05-10 09:48:42 UTC
I don't reproduce the crash with French multilingual version OOo 3.1.
Please could you attach your test document or another with the same problem ? It
is very difficult to download from you website.

Comment 4 branislav.klocok 2009-05-10 10:45:40 UTC
It is a big document 2MB. Please send me your email address on and i will send it to you via email.
Comment 5 wolframgarten 2009-05-11 08:51:59 UTC
Is your build an original OOo build or from some other distributor? I cannot
reproduce the problem on suse 0.1 with OOO310_m11.
Comment 6 branislav.klocok 2009-05-11 09:19:08 UTC
The buid comes from Pavel Janik.
Comment 7 wolframgarten 2009-05-11 09:51:54 UTC
Ok, setting to invalid since this cannot be reproduced with the official build.

Comment 9 earthtone 2009-05-16 16:06:33 UTC
I can verify this is still a problem using the official 3.1.0 build.
Comment 10 wolframgarten 2009-05-18 12:36:02 UTC
No problems on two different linux systems. Normally when crashing the Office
comes up again with document recovery and asks if you want to send a crash
report. If you do so you will get a crash id by email. Does this not happen for you?
Comment 11 branislav.klocok 2009-06-29 16:54:08 UTC
I have identified the slide from the presentation which causes the crash.

Comment 13 jbf.faure 2009-06-29 19:05:25 UTC
No problem for me with OOo 3.1.0 FR/US (official build) under Ubuntu 8.04.
Comment 14 branislav.klocok 2009-06-30 08:20:18 UTC
I will try some other mqachines and will come back.
Comment 15 2009-06-30 10:39:13 UTC
If the problematic machine has a bigendian CPU this might be a duplicate of issue 102378. What does
"uname -a" say?
Comment 16 branislav.klocok 2009-06-30 11:06:01 UTC
Linux brko-notebook #1 SMP 2009-05-26 17:02:05 -0400 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Comment 17 2009-06-30 11:25:06 UTC
It is not a duplicate then as x86 uses a little-endian byte order.

@earthtone: you were able to reproduce it on an official build. Did you send the crash report and got an
automatic reply? What was the "reportid" mentioned in that mail?
