Description cement_head 2009-05-12 23:02:58 UTC
The ability to start an embedded movie upon clicking (not immediately when the
slide is advanced) in an impress presentation (wmv, mov) is broken.
Comment 1 cement_head 2009-05-12 23:07:37 UTC
The version is actually not OOO310m9, but rather 000310m11.

1) Open OO Impress

2) Choose Empty Presentation

3) Insert>Movie and Sound

4) Choose movie file from local system HDD (ogv, wmv, mov)

5) Right click on place-holder and select "Custom Animation"

6) Choose "Misc Effects" tab

7) Select "Start Media"

8) Make sure "Start Media" is Effect Start "On Click"

9) Save presentation

10) Start presentation

***Movie file should not play until mouse is clicked while over placeholder***

11) Movie file plays immediately upon advancement to slide containing movie as
per OpenOffice 3.0

12) Media control does not work (or I'm using it completely incorrectly)

Wasn't using correctly - Slide Show | Slide Show Settings => one has to uncheck
"Animations Allowed"
