Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 101886
Font changes for imported ppt when saved as odp
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:20:06 UTC
Importing a simple 1-slide ppt presentation with text in Arial, saving it in OOo as odp, and loading the newly created odp shows changes in the font from Arial 18 to Times New Roman 24. Reproducible within Windows and Linux.
Reproducible. Reassigned.
I'd like to comment on this issue. When I opened the ppt file by PowerPoint 2007 in Impress of OpenOffice.org 3.1.0, I did not have any problem, but I saved it in an odp file and confirmed that a problem occurred when I opened again. The problem that occurred: A font, size, a color are different in some sentences with the odp file whereas they set it in white by MS P Gothic in all sentences with the original file. A reproduction procedure: 1. Open the sample.ppt(in I attached sample.zip) in Impress. (There is no problem) 2. Save it in odp. 3. Open an odp file in Impress again. (Problem outbreak) This problem occurs with Windows XP Professional SP3, Ubuntu 9.04 each. I attach related file and screenshot. Thanks.
