Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 102811
Deleting a column does not actualize the chart correctly
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:28:06 UTC
Deleting a column does not actualize the chart Creating a chart based on several columns, deleting one of these columns does not actualize the chart correctly. Example: Create a bar or line-chart based on the data in A1:E5. Delete e.g. column B and you get an interesting result. The new colunm B is twice in the chart and the number of bars / lines does not change. Best regards sarotti

I checked with "chart_not_actual.ods" and "Ooo 3.1.0 WIN XP multilingual version German UI activated [OOO310m11 (Build 9399)]" and can confirm the reported effect. Same with "Ooo Dev 3.2.0 multilingual version English UI WIN XP: [DEV300m50 (Build 9406)]" and "2.4.1 Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [680m17(Build9310)]". Worked fine with "1.1.4 (German) WIN XP: [645m52 (Build 8824)]" Same with self created charts, also with completely different line charts. Steps to reproduce with "chart_not_actual.ods": 1. open sample file 2. Modify Value in 'C2' from "18" to "50" Chart will be modified as expected with long "east"-column-bar 3. delete column 'C' with "east" values right click on column heading, 'delete column') expected: "east" column will be removed from charts, only 3 columns for each "1Q", "2Q", "3Q", "4Q" remain actual: "east" values no longer considered vor y axis scaling as expected, but still 4 column bars for each "xQ" shown, "south" has been doubled
