Description strob 2009-06-18 09:25:12 UTC
Hello,

I have problems with the viewing of this document.

If you type some text in the attached document and type a blank, then the
written text disappears.

This behavior affects only the UI. In the page preview of the document it looks
normal.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
* open "Example.odt"
* put the cursor to the end of the line "Test1 test2 "
* type in some text
* make a blank

@HDU: please have a look at the bugdoc. It seems that the bullet before the line
break is a CJK punctuation mark (?). Maybe we have here a script mix?

Reproduced in DEV300m49 on the SunRay.

Strange indeed. The new text is there but invisible until there is a screen refresh etc.
Analyzing.

@od: writer does something strange for this bugdoc. E.g. the portion VCL gets from Writer ("\nTest1
test2") is strange, as it starts with the LF character! Writer usually does the line breaking and provides the
resolved portions to VCL without any control codes.

I suspect that Writer gets the clip area wrong for the very same reason. If the LF is removed from the
bugdoc everything works fine.

Oops, the above attachment should have been attached to a different issue.
Sorry! Please ignore it. Don't know how that happened.
