Description noel.power 2009-06-18 12:29:00 UTC
macro recorded to export selection as pdf when re-run prints ( all ) sheets
to reproduce
1) in an spreadsheet document, put some data on all sheets
2) pick a sheet, press [cntrl-a] to select all
3) file | export as pdf
4) select, 'selection' for printing
5) confirm export, and stop macro recording
6) save macro
7) examine pdf output ( should be the selected data on the sheet you picked )
8) rerun the recorded macro
9) examine the pdf ( you will see *all* sheets exported )

Comment 2 h.ilter 2009-06-18 15:40:04 UTC
Not a pdf issue. Occurs also by printing.
Bug seems to be macro related.

I just noticed the comment from Thu Jun 18 14:40:04 +0000 2009 ( the mail
notification never came or got spaminated or.... something )

>Bug seems to be macro related.
Huh? are you kidding? the macro is generated ( via the macro recorder ) I can't
recall if indeed there was something obvious like no information passed via the
generated macro about the selected sheets etc. BUT if so the problem surely is
in the framework/sc code.

OTOH if I had my way the macro recorder would be just removed as it causes more
problems then it ever solves

This also occurs if you set a page range or enter a single page number.

The generated macro does contain an element that appears to pass the
information. In my case, this is
"Array("PageRange",0,"1,5",com.sun.star.beans.PropertyState.DIRECT_VALUE)"
