Thanks for raising this issue.

Are you able to list any errors that you get when you try and open
this document? This could enable the developers to more easily
identify the problem.

Unable to replicate the problem on WinXP on 1.0.1 and 643.

Hi:

Yes, I only can read the first page. Then, I see some graphics, and
the second page is all white.

If I erase the graphic from the first page, I see some text more from
the other pages, but when it skip page, I only see one (and only one)
white page.

I thinked you see the same only by open the file. I'm sorry.

This issue is not a problem of the import. It is a conceptional
limitation of Writer's table handling. It is not possible to have a
table cell larger than one page (and then breaking onto the next page).
Your text is not gone at all; place the cursor on page two and select
"Tools.Text <-> Table" from menu and you'll see, that everything has
been stored though it is not visible.
Yes, we know that it would be a great feature to have more flexible
table cells, but it would eat up VERY much of our resources to
implement this. There's another issue (owned by a member of the
Product management team; issue #4746) which is up for decision and
also described exactly the problem of this issue.
