Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 103465
Replaced 1st by 1^st has not been translated in portuguese
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:32:51 UTC
Hi! The function "Replace 1st... with 1^st..." in Tools/AutoCorrect/Options has not been translated to portuguese. In brazilian version of OpenOffice.org, the correct rule is replace to male genre: - 1o with 1º - 2o with 2º - 3º with 3º - etc... to female genre: - 1a with 1ª - 2a with 2ª - 3a with 3ª - etc... This options don´t run in brazilian portuguese OpenOffice.org. However, if I write in 1st and 2nd (english), it´s ok to 1^st and 2^nd! I read the document http://specs.openoffice.org/g11n/ordinal_numbers/ordinal_numbers.sxw and the document don´t have the "Localized strings and algorithm for portuguese". The rules is above but, if you need more information, please contact me! Thanks! Thanks! Gustavo Pacheco

Please also check if there are differences between pt_BR and pt_PT... and other pt_* loacales. Muito obrigado!
