When opening an Excel 07 spreadsheet from Calc OO 3.1.0 Calc crashes

I get an error dialog box saying (translated from Danish) soffice.bin Program error
Exceptiom unknown software error (0xe06d7363)ocoured in programe at address 

It takes about one minute before Calc crashes.

There are an empty spreadsheet left for recovery.

I'll send the spreadsheet if you like.

When searching the Issues I found  Issue 96078  it might be related .

Confirming with 3.1 on WinXP - trying to open second .xlsx Office starts 
eating CPU and RAM. After 8 minutes it allocates >1GB of RAM and crashes 
(though some RAM is still available). might be related.
