Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 103996
errorbars mixed up when "sorted by x-value"
Last modified: 2013-09-25 20:41:40 UTC
In a diagram containing y-errorbars, when the option "sort by x-value" is checked, the values will be sorted, but the errorbars will not be sorted, resulting in wrong assignment. I'm using the German version of OpenOffice, therefore some of the terms might not be 100% correct. The German trans- lation that I see on my screen is entered in square brackets. -> Steps to recreate: * Create a new spreadsheet. * Enter the following values (or similar): 3 1 1 2 2 2 1 3 3 * Create a new XY-diagram, using the first two columns * Insert y-errorbars [Einfügen->Y-Fehlerbalken], using the third column [Zellbereich] and choose symmetrical errorbars, to simplify matters [Beide Seiten gleich] * Select and right click the diagram, choose Chart Type [Diagrammtyp...] and select "Sort by x-value" [Nach X- Werten sortieren] -> Result: The points will be sorted, but the errorbars won't be sorted. -> Fix: Sort your data before creating the diagrmm, making the "sort by x-value" option obsolete.
