Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:11:09 UTC
When we have a document in Impres kept as PPT and we carry out a special copy from a file xls. the result of the copy is that all the lines of the chart that are selected in the copy don't appear. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. - we have a file xls and another PPT, open with OpenOffice 2. - we select a piece of the document xls and we hit it in the Impress like clac8 3 -. the result is that all that is not copied selected. Actual Results: When copying the chart to Impress it doesn't appear whole, they lack parts of the selection Expected Results: It should be copied all that selected well

I do not understand if I get the problem right: do you mean that the liners between the cells are missing? That works as it is meant. If you want the lines to appear you have to change them in the xls file (Format/Cells/Borders/line arrangement). If you mean that not the complete content is shown please double click the inserted part in impress and resize the frame. Hope this helps.

the steps are these: 1) In the xls file copy the cells: B16:G23 2) Paste them into a presentation using "special paste" and "calc8" option. Actual result: 2 Last rows are lost Expected result: 2 Last rows shouldn't be lost nad should be pasted. If we do the test case with cells B28:G35, the four last rows are lost. As you said, the fact is that the complete content is not shown and we have to double-click and scroll-down. But this shouldn't be needed. The idea is to get pasted exactly the content that was copied. What do you think?
Ok, I see. First I thought that the content would be pasted in standard size and because of that something was missing. But taking more content increases the inserted OLE but always some lines are missing.
Reassigned.
