Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 104114
Drawing selectin will also select list labels in high zoom levels
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:22:29 UTC
(Excuse me for my bad English) I select a picture and press "del" key. Writer (version 3.1) deletes text instead of picture. I can't create new document and repeat this bug in it. But I have good document where I can repeat this bug. I attach this document. Please open it and follow this steps: 1. Make panel "РиÑование" ("Drawing"?) visible. 2. Set zoom to 360%. 2. Click to the arrow icon on this panel (picture selection mode). Arrow background should became violet. 3. You can see some graphics between to text lists. Select this graphics: - move mouse cursor to the top left corner of graphics; - press and hold left mouse button; - move mouse cursor to the bottom right corner of graphics; - unpress left mouse button. Now graphics should be selected. Writer draws 8 green squares around it. 4. Press "del" key to delete graphics. Graphics will not be deleted. Something in text will be deleted instead.

More simple description: - Load selection_activates_numbering.odt (will be attached) - select the Draw object - press Del -> the first numbering is deleted and the Draw object remains. Explanation: It seems that the numbering "catches" the the cursor when it is activated somewhere before the numbering (you see the gray numbering shading activated when clicking on the object). @MRU: do we have a duplicate for this?

Confirmed
MRU->OD: can confirm this. Open the attached document, set zoom to 360%, select the drawing objects at the top by using the selection tool -> the list labels will also be selected. I was not able to reproduce this with 100% or 200% zoom.
