Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 104332
When saving a new document, the default name "Untitled <#>" is not selected
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:33:33 UTC
When I create a new document and go to save it, the default name that appears in the save dialog box is "Untitled 1" (or whichever number the document corresponds to, depending on how many I'm creating), and this is not highlighted, so I have to highlight or erase it to type in my own name for the doc. If I forget, or the select fails, I get screwball names like "Untitled 1SavedCopyOfMyAutobiography.odt". Notice that this comes up in a "Save as" dialog. The default name should either be blank or automatically selected so that anything typed in replaces it entirely. Blank would be better. I will provide a screenshot attachment shortly. Running OOO310m11, build 9399.
Created attachment 64250 [details] Save as dialog with "Untitled 1" not highlighted as the default document name.
MRU->MAV: refers to all unix platforms. The file name in the OO-own save-as dialog is not selected so the user has to delete the default file name manually. Works fine on Windows.
Oh, crap - wrong issue! It's not just the hand-eye coordination at work (?) here.... Please ignore my last entry.
Okay, I need to wake up! My last comment (only) was completely off base....
Still a problem in OOo 3.2.0....
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
