Description amy2008 2009-09-03 06:55:20 UTC
Can reproduce it in OOo3.1.1 RC2 Clac, impress and drawing

How to reproduce it (like in impress)
1 Create a new Impress file
2 Insert a text box and input some characters in the text box, like "asd fsd"
3 Tools - Spelling, Spelling dialog opens, click Ignore Once twice, then Close
  the dialog

Result
Find that Ignore Once doesn't work.

Expectation
Ignore Once works well

Note
In Calc, Ignore Once doesn't work.
In Impress and Drawing, both of Ignore once and Ignore all don't work.

But above you have written, that "Ignore Once" worked, and here not?

It does on my system (Debian SID AMD64 OOO320m8). I cannot confirm your issue.

Would you be so kind to give us some background information? Like which
OS/architecture, OOo version, tested with $langpack or $installpack?
Have fun
Thomas.

Hi thackert,

I can't reproduce this issue with OOo3.1 under ubuntu.
amy2008 is in her vacation by now, and won't be back till the end of February.
I assume that she clicked the "ignore once" button, button push down, but had no
effect, so she can close the dialog directly. Or she would have to close a
message box first, then the dialog.
We're testing with x86 platform and windows and linux OS.

Thanks,
Lihua

Hello Lihua,
I am sorry to hear, that amy2008 is on vacation (though I hope she will have a
nice holiday and will be back healthy and relaxed and all in March :) ) and
cannot answer my questions ... :( Are you - by any chance - are able to answer
them (I mean, the question about her OS/architecture and the like)? It is not
clear to me, which Win version or GNU/Linux distro are you using on which
archtecture ... :( Otherwise I have to wait 'til she's back in March. But then
it would be nice if you could remember her to look at her issues ... ;)
Have fun
Thomas.

Hi Thomas,

Yes, I know about most of her testing environment. She use a X86 machine, and
test under windows xp sp3 and ubuntu8 or fedora9.

hope that helps.

Best regards,
Lihua

Hello Lihua,
I was interested in her architecture (which I have mentioned above ... ;) ).
Like "Is she using a 32bit or a 64bit system ... And did she tested OOo on a
32bit or 64bit version of Win/Ubuntu ... And I still miss an answer to my
question, if she has tested it with the OOo install- or langpack in your
language (IIRC you are Chinese, or am I wrong?). And something, which I forgot
in my last post here, sorry ... :( Which Java version is installed on her
system? Maybe it has something to do with it, although I am not sure about ... :(
Have fun
Thomas.

Hi Thomas,

Sorry for my neglection. we are using X86 32bit platform, and 32bit OS. She
tested with OOo install, and yes, we are Chinese. Thanks for remebering us. :)

I tested with OOo3.2RC3, and can't find any bug, so I'm not sure if I caught
her words. I think maybe it's better to wait for her coming back and let her
give an explanation.

about her Java version, sorry I don't know about it. But I'm using 1.6.0
update 15.

Best regards,
Lihua

Hi thackert,
Thank you for your regretings, now I am on my happy holiday with my little
daughter.
Sorry for my late reply.
Like zhulihua said "I assume that she clicked the ignore once button, button
push down, but had no effect, so she can close the dialog directly. Or she
would have to close a message box first, then the dialog.", these are the right
reproducing steps.
Now I try to do it on OOo3.1 and OOo3.2, both of them works well. So, now I will
close it.
Thank you for your attention.
