Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 104777
Bug with textbox with shadow and animated text
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:00:59 UTC
To reproduce in Impress, * create a textbox, enter text * assign custom animation "appear" to text * switch to presentation mode, text appears after click as it is supposed to do * now back to editing mode, assign shadow to textbox (shadow shows up for text, which is ok acc. to Issue 57145) * switch to presentation mode, text is already there, shadow appears after click, which is a bug It is stranger when one adds a (white) background to the textbox. Then, in presentation mode, while text is already shown, clicking would produce the text shadows although they should be hidden. This has probably something to do with the changes that came with Issue 57145.
Sorry, not reproducible here. Please attach your test document. How do you assign the shadow (Text formatting toolbar or Area-Dialog, Tabpage shadow?
I will attach test document, where all details are explained. I did assign the shadow with area-dialog, then tabpage shadow. BTW, there seems to be another small bug here: To assign the shadow to the textbox using the Line and Filling toolbar one needs to click right onto the border of the textbox. Clicking into to textbox, which opens the text formatting toolbar, and then onto the border of the textbox does not switch back to the Line and Filling toolbar. So that's why I used the area>shadow dialog.
Created attachment 64543 [details] test document which explains it all
Reproducible. But in DEV300_m60 something else seems to go wrong. The 2nd line of text is always lost and not displayed.
I have encountered this identical problem in OpenOffice 4.0.0, Rev. 1503704. The test document appears as the original issue reporter described.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
