Description jmpoo 2009-09-17 12:45:59 UTC
OOo 3.2 m59, engl. with german language pack, default settings, Win XP

Open Draw
draw two objects (e.g. rectangles)
select both objects
click copy button in the symbolbar or choose copy in contextmenu

open writer
paste selection
the two lines were inserted, but OO freezes and was killed after a few seconds

same behavior, if objects are grouped

Works well in dev300 m58
works, if you paste selection to Calc
works, if you copy only one object

Maybe there is a coherence with issue 103514 and 87831 because pastet
dimensionlines are shown as expected now.

@MBA: as described. Reproduced on Vista. Don't know about Unix yet.
As it didn't happen in m58, it deserves a P1.
Writer only.

Please dispatch.

Michael, please have a look.

I could reproduce this on Windows XP.

I get assertions like "SwFmtMeta: no Meta?"

and then a crash from boost::shared_ptr with px != 0.

Since the shapes are already inserted and painted correctly I suspects it is the
meta data implementation?
