I have noticed OpenOffice Spreadsheet does not make a difference between "A"'s
and A-umlauts. This is a "German" way of sorting words alphabetically, and is
quite annoying for users in other countries, for example those in Finland (like
me :).

I couldn't find a setting where the alpabetical sorting could be chanced in
OpenOffice so I presume it doesn't exist.

The feature (or defect fix; I don't know the right term in this case) I would
like to see is that OpenOffice would look upon the computer's country setting
and chance the alphabets order according to this (which I think is the case in
Microsoft Excel for example) and/or preferably add an option to which countrys
alpabets should be used for alpabetical sorting.

A more detailed description for those who don't know what I'm talking about:

(I won't use the :-ed(umlauted) characters because they wouldn't probably
display correctly on all systems, so A-umlauts have been replaced with a: and
o-umlauts with o:)

Currently OpenOffice sorts the following words like this:

Aavamaa

A:a:lio:

Bertta

Karhu

Ka:sa:ma:

Kukkonen

Saukkonen

which is right in some countries like Germany (I think), but according to the
Finnish alpabet the list should be like this:

Aavamaa

Bertta

Karhu

Kukkonen

Ka:sa:ma:

saukkonen

A:a:lio:

And, the both lists for comparison:

Aavamaa Aavamaa

A:a:lio: Bertta

bertta Karhu

karhu Kukkonen

Ka:sa:ma: Ka:sa:ma:

Kukkonen Saukkonen

Saukkonen A:a:lio:
