Tabs in word processor documents.

Tabs in word processor documents. I was thinking about school all those many years ago and writing research papers and I realized how helpful tabs in a word processor would have been. I used to append paragraphs here and there while researching and in the end perform one huge marathon cut and paste to organize the document. Then cull the parts that, while possibly relevant, ruined the flow or didn't quite fit. It would have been much easier to organize had I been able to dump notes into titled tabs and then move the tabs or content into a final paper. Even now when I need to take extensive notes on something it would be great to be able to have several tabs open on a word processing document. Even better, for my business uses, it would be nice to be able to create a tab that is either spreadsheet OR word processing and housed in one document file. Oooh and a table of contents that allows hyperlinks to each tab. (Ok I'm at risk of going off the deep end here.) The point is that I see allot of potential uses for tabbed word processing documents. (Tabs within a document as opposed to opening several documents in tabs)
