Description imarobles 2009-11-13 05:08:11 UTC
The UNDO command does not include actions done when changing the chart data ranges.

I created a XY Scatter chart. Do some text changes on the spreadsheet (not on
the chart object). Edit the chart data range. Try undoing the changes. It
skipped the data range action.

I just discovered that we can undo changes on the chart only once the chart
object is active, and from there we do the undo command. But if it is
inactive, the spreadsheet undo command will not undo the changes made on the
chart object.

That is the behaviour "as designed and desired", so I close this issue

Just to inform you guys, this behavior is not "as designed". There is a feature
request for supporting aggregation of chart's undo stack with calc's. The IZ
number escapes me at the moment...

You are right, Issue 101423 is for that ENHANCEMENT

I disagree with those ideas
