Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 107130
Macros trust folder and OLE frames
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:27:51 UTC
Configure trusted folder for my macroses (~/path1). After that create ~/path1/writer1.odt and ~/path1/calc1.odt Then create simple macros with any trivial function. Save macros in ~/path1/calc1.odt and call this function from ~/path1/calc1.odt Then create OLE-link from ~/path1/writer1.odt to ~/path1/calc1.odt (show cell with this function). You will see an error, because of macros security restricts. OOo can`t understand, that called macros placed in trusted folder! Both documents are in trusted folder! Saving macros in ~/path1/writer1.odt don`t helps too. :(
Andreas, please have a look.

Any news? This bug only part of many bugs with macros in Calc: 1) User functions shuld be placed in Standard library only. It`s horror! http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=53615 2) User functions dosn`t work then Calc uses as data source. http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=115609 3) Most of Calc functions are disable in Writer and Base. Why?
