Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 1072
features@test.openoffice.org doesn't work anymore
Last modified: 2003-12-06 14:52:32 UTC
<features@test.openoffice.org>: Sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.1.1) This list is needed for NNTP and other testing.
Strange; 'features' is still listed in the admin as a valid list, but messages to features@test.openoffice.org are indeed bouncing. Assigning to Kat for investigation.

Since this has to do with NNTP testing see if edk may have manually edited this list...I seem to recal that there were special issues with the features list which meant you couldn't edit certain parts of the lists from the UI.
Being tracked internally with issue pcn4644
This issue has been addressed, I am marking it resolved fixed. Please reopen the issue if you have any problems. Thank you Kat Comments from edk: I haven't made any modifications to this. I'm not sure how it happened, the ezmlm dir was fine, but the qmail files pointing in to it were missing. I triggered the old system to re-run ezmlm-make on the dir and it created the .qmail files; I can now recieve confirmation messages from the list, so I believe it's working again.
The is working, but not as before. It doesn't respect ooposters as a list of non-subscribers who are allowed to post.
Stefan, when I manually added the ooposters list of ppl to those lists I don't know if I added it to the features@test list. It has been so long ago...I don't remember. Shane This is so much easier to handle in SC 1.0 it is a web editable form.
Stefan, I can try to look at then when I get back from Japan if you would like, but I will be in Japan from 23-30th of June....and then the OO upgrade is right around the corner.....Shane
I think I can remember that features@test worked fine as the others :-( I'll take another list for testing in the meantime. Have Fun
> > My message had to be moderated despite the fact that I'm "subscriber" of > > ooposters. > Actually, this shouldn't be considered a hack any more -- everyone on > ooposters should be able to subscribe to any list which is moderated + > user posts only. The thing is that features@test.openoffice.org is just > moderated -- if you turn on user posts only, you should be able to post. Turning on "user posts" solved the problem.
As agreed by Louis I will close these resolved fixed kat (support)-owned issues now. If you have trouble with that, please re-open the issue.
