Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 107778
Presentation minimizer doesn't install on Linux-x64
Last modified: 2010-10-09 21:55:39 UTC
I downloaded the version 1.0.1 for Linux-Intel from the extension site and tried to install the extension with the extension manager of OOo. I get the error message, that extension can't be installed on this system. There is a string inside the description.xml that points to linux_x86. This means that we need a special version for Linux-x64. Since we have not such a version please make a note on the extension webseite and rename the release of the Linux version (to *-x86).
On which version of OOo do you try to install it?
I tried it with the current version. Today I run the test again with OOo3.2-rc1-x64 on my openSUSE-11.1-x64 box. I hope that is enough information.
Could not reproduce this on 64 bit Suse here with OOO320_m8 and minimizer version1.0.1...
@wg: Did you use OOo3.2rc-x64 on openSUSE 11.1-x64?
Reproducible. Reassigned.
please try http://ooo.services.openoffice.org/~mh93703/Extensions/lin64/oracle-presentation-minimizer.oxt (prerelease of version 1.0.2)
The extension works with OOo 3.2.1 on Linux-x64 (OpenSuSE 11.1-x64) now. I get an error inside the export (minimized presentation). I tried it the slides of my presentation at the LinuxTag 2010 (http://www.linuxtag.org/2010/fileadmin/www.linuxtag.org/slides/Andreas_Mantke_ OpenSolaris on slide 9 was not exported. There is only the frame and the logo for a graphic. I don't know if that is an issue that depends on the type (format) of the graphic.
