Description ecifene 2009-12-19 17:15:59 UTC
This is a interaction error beetween calc and writer.

When pasting a calc graphic, the equation and coefficient of determination are
rounded to two decimal digits (even though they are shown with three digits in
the original sheet, no changes were done there since that's how Calc generated it).

Steps to reproduce:
*Fill with numbers column A (1, 2, 3, 4... will do)
*Place at column B =A1*2+RANDOM() to produce a

Make a graphic plotting the relationship between the variables.
Include the equation and R²

In this instance I got f(x) = 2.031x + 0.367 / R² = 0.998

Copy the graphic and paste it on Writer.
The graphic is there, but the equation now reads f(x) = 2.03x + 0.37 / R² = 1

Our almost-linear relationship between the variables (0.998) has now changed
into a perfect correlation!!
