Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 107851
OOo Stops Working when inserting a formula or macro
Last modified: 2017-05-20 09:57:38 UTC
I have OOo 3.1 English version... Windows-Vista-64bits, and Java 6/17... Every time I try to open a CALC file (.ods) with macros and/or formulas, Or every time I try to insert a formula or enter an "=" (equal sign) to write a formula in a cell. The OOo Stops working and Windows Vista 64 bits sends a message asking to search the Internet for a solution and close the program or to Close the Program right away... This is what Windows sends as info... Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: soffice.bin Application Version: 3.1.9398.500 Application Timestamp: 49e78954 Fault Module Name: kernel32.dll Fault Module Version: 6.0.6002.18005 Fault Module Timestamp: 49e038c0 Exception Code: e06d7363 Exception Offset: 0001e124 OS Version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3 Locale ID: 2058 Additional Information 1: fd00 Additional Information 2: ea6f5fe8924aaa756324d57f87834160 Additional Information 3: fd00 Additional Information 4: ea6f5fe8924aaa756324d57f87834160 I ran Windows upadate several times to make sure it has all the newest features, I uninstalled OOo 3.1 twice, ran CCleaner after uninstalling OOo and reinstalled it, in English, in Spanish, etc. But it still has the same problem. Just do not know what happened since a few days ago it was working very good. The only new software I installed in my Acer Aspire 6930 LapTop was Nokia-OVI-Suite (new generation of Nokia-PC-Suite) and e-Sword (www.e-sword.net). Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance.
@barboza Please try 3.1.1 or 3.2.0 RC1 and report your experience! May be you should ask for help in an user mailing list or forum.
Do you have any extensions for Calc installed? This can be due to a Calc function installed as extension.
